With any application, you can use the SMART Board as a touch-sensitive screen. Furthermore you can pull up a keyboard to enter text or numbers and save annotations on the screen created with tools from the pen tray or floating tools on the screen.
With Microsoft Office, you have tools that provide enhanced SMART Board features, such as converting handwriting to text for Word and Excel, and providing additional tools in PowerPoint.
With SMART Notebook and other SMART Tech applications, you have applications that are fully integrated with the board.

Other Useful SMART Applications
SMART Video Player: You can play a video, annotate using the pen set and more, copy the image into Notebook.
SMART Recorder: You can record your desktop and voice (with mic) to create a movie file (large file)
Other SMART Tools: Screenshade, spotlight, calculator and more can be used with any application. You can add them to your Floating toolbar by clicking on the "gear" at the bottom.
